We collect only the data necessary to provide our grading services. This includes your email address (for authentication), the rubrics you create, and the student essays you upload for grading. We do not use your data to train our AI models.
RubricAlign utilizes third-party AI providers (OpenAI and Hugging Face) to process grading requests. Data sent to these providers is ephemeral and subject to their respective enterprise privacy policies (zero data retention for API usage).
You maintain full ownership of your data. You can delete individual rubrics or grading results at any time. Furthermore, if you delete your account, our system performs a Cascade Delete, instantly and permanently wiping your profile and all associated data from our servers.
Our database uses Row Level Security (RLS) policies. This guarantees that your data is cryptographically segregated—no other user can see, access, or modify your rubrics or grading history.
